Japheth struggles with self-doubt as he leaves his dragon, Ismi, behind to meet his bride-to-be. Intrigue surrounds him the moment he arrives at his great-grandfather's abode. Even though his bride mesmerizes him, he is not blind to the corruption within Methuselah's wilderness stronghold.
